......................new work to be shown this spring at 108 Fine Art, Harrogate.

1st May – 30th May THREE YORKSHIRE ARTISTS

NORMAN ADAMS RA is frequently cited as being one of the most accomplished British watercolour painters of the 20th century. Although he travelled widely in Europe and spent many summers on the Island of Scarp, Scotland, it was his home in Horton in Ribblesdale where he continued to return to and for more than 50 years.

EMERSON MAYES was born in Harrogate and has always had a fascination with the rolling hills and heavy skies of his native Yorkshire. His beautiful, moody landscapes have been exhibited widely in London, Scotland and Ireland, and this will be his first regional show in four years.

CHRISTOPHER P WOOD. Following a major solo exhibition at Agnews, London we are delighted that Christopher has agreed to exhibit both new paintings and work from his own personal collection.
'As with Nolan, there seems at times almost nothing he can't paint or make the paint do for him…’ Nicholas Usherwood, Modern Painters Magazine.
